No signal problems

Right so my phone has another thing wrong with it. My signal unexplainably dies completely and doesn't return until I restart. Anyone?

Voice or data or both? Maybe a bad SIM? Check with your wireless provider and see if you can try a replacement SIM.

Both. My SIM has already been replaced because I kept losing data which cured it, but now after almost six months I have this problem

Signal drops to zero bars but I still have the carrier's name in the notification tray

Maybe a problem with the phone's antenna? Can you identify any common factors that are associated with the signal dropout? Like location, position of the phone, squeezing it in a funny way, etc.?

Currently unknown. It will just drop, but keep the carrier's name. Stuff has stopped working on this phone faster than I can type this post

Have you already done a system cache partition wipe, or a factory reset?
