No SIM card notification?

This just popped up in notifications area, telling me that lte/4G will not work because the sim card has been removed? I don't have lte in my area.

Running stock 4.3 on Sprint. What's up with this?

I was just coming to post the same thing. See attached screenshot - am getting the same notice but am still connected to 4G. I used to get the warning occasionally before the upgrade and would pop out the SIM and reinsert and it would go away. I think there is a bug of some sort. Anyone else getting?

I think all of us have had this issue from time to time. I just reboot the phone and usually it fixes it.

I think the difference is that it used to actually not connect to 4G when I received, this time is staying on 4G so is a bug.

Doesn't the notifications on the left side belong to apps?
On my European SIM phone I'll get SIM notifications on the right side of the notification bar.

It really makes no difference which side it's on, but it's still sim.

Even though I bought the phone at Best Buy, I took the phone to the Sprint store and they said this was pretty common. They are swapping out the SIM cards free of charge. That appears to have fixed the issue on mine. It was absolutely annoying when it was occurring regularly. I would drop calls left and right as it jumped in and out of the network.
