No sim connection no mobile network emergency calls only.

I've recently rebooted my zte blade l5. I have no sim connection I can't access mobile network cause it is grey I checked the sim status and it says its unavailable, ive googled many tips I have tried most of them but they unfortunately did not work, I have contacted my mobile dealer but they were no help, I checked the IMEI which is the same . I've rebooted the phone again I've restarted it I have tried the *# trick but it says emergency calls only I am running out of ideas any tips?

Trouble shoot. Does that sim work in other phones? Do other sims work in yours? That way you can isolate the sim or the device. Take it to the service provider and try a different sim..

Call the network service again and have them look at your SIM permissions. Something similar to this happened to me before and after days of trying to figure it out with them, someone with competence checked out the SIM permissions in their system and almost all of them were toggled "off".
