No smart settings?

I noticed this is missing when I tried to find it after watching a YouTube video about the V20. A Google search suggested VZW might have removed it (lame). Is there any way to at least approximate the setting of having an app start when I plug in my earbuds, like Pandora?

Smart settings is in the Tmobile version.

It's on the Sprint know as well. Leave it to Verizon to remove factory apps. Not that I can say anything since Sprint forgot to put the LG gallery and messaging app on our phones. I'd rather have those and not the smart settings.

I'd love it if I could set Pandora to start when I plug in my phones. Is there any way to approximate this?

Its on AT&T too. I like it. I left opening music player alone as I wouldn't be able to choose using Spotify or my music library. I Can't make that choice lol.

I have the same issue with my Verizon V20....are they going to bring this back? Why on earth would Verizon remove the Smart Settings? I would really love to do these type of things natively instead of paying for an app to do it.

I just wish that smart settings could do more. Like automatically turn on WiFi calling when I get home

It should be under the General Settings tab.

I use Tasker for things like this, however it isn't a user friendly program, but it is powerful. I think IFTTT is a more user friendly app that can also auto start programs when "things" happen on the phone.

Same here. Also no FM radio, My Places or multi-window? Love Verizon customer reps but thats it!!! I guess we did pay less than everyone. Can lg maybe help? I've also heard the v10 was missing smart settings and has still not received an update for it. What else is missing I wonder? Disappointed that they screwed with the phone for whatever reason concealed these changes and can't even give me a reason why they watered down this great product. If I were LG I would be going all Frank Lucas on em... I kid, this is a great phone!!!

Are you sure there's no multi window? It shows as an option in the task manager.

I wish manufacturers would crack down on carriers tampering with their phones like this. It sucks to see a cool new feature advertised and think you're going to get it, only to find it stripped out by the carrier

I just started using MacroDroid. Starts my Maps app when I connect to a specific blutooth device in my truck. Seems to work pretty well. User friendly.

I just started using MacroDroid. Starts my Maps app when I connect to a specific blutooth device in my truck. Seems to work pretty well. User friendly.

I'm going to give Macrodroid a try.
