No Soft Buttons work when charging

Not sure what's up but when my D Inc is on a wall charger, none of the soft buttons work. No scrolling, no swiping, no nothing.
Only the volume and power button, and bottom button work.

Anyjuan else seen this happen?

I would reboot and see if this is the same. If So, call Verizon or HTC. (I bet they suggest a hard reset).

Nope. Have you tried re-starting to see if it continues? If so, have you installed any new apps lately?

I am running a new Alpha Podcatcher that is in testing, also I am seeing a com.htc.bg is forcing close frequently

Are you leaving the phone on a table while trying to swipe and hit the soft keys? If so try picking the phone up while charging and see if that works.

Nope, not that.

That happens to me when I'm using the phone with it laying on the bed. Once its on the charger, the phone works really well. I would send it back.

Thats because there is a grounding issue. While the phone is laying there on your bed, there is no electrical ground, or at least not a good enough one so it doesn't sense your finger, once you plug in the charger it has an electrical ground and should work just fine.

For the original poster, have you tried turning off your phone and pulling the battery to do a soft reset? If you have done that, try a hard reset.

same here, only happens when i use a generic charger. screen & buttons work fine when i use the stock charger, as well a a BB charger too.
