No sound when txting!!! Help!!

ok well today was another day my phone was acting up. i checked settings and i have it checked on sound when txting and when i go to txted theres no sound or really low sound. I have restarted and turned off my phone and nothing has happened,still doing the same thing. Does anyone else have this problem.

Yeah. The speaker on our phone suck donkey balls. Lol wish it had the incredible speakers -_- but I guess one can't always have everything.

well before i could hear the sound everytime i hit the letter but now i cant,idk what to do

Try downloading audio manager widget from the market and check you media and system volume through the widget. Max them out with the sliders and try again.

hey it worked,it was my system volume but i dont see that anywhere in my settings

Glad it worked. Yeah that's why I told you to download that. They are all in one place and I'm not even sure system volume is accessible thru os.

but its weird cuz before the sound went out or sound was down it was working fine,how did it get lowered

U may have been in a certain app and a system sound may have been playing and you inadvertently press volume down thus lowering or muting that certain volume.

Is this app also a solution to be able to control the keyboard key tap sound volume? I really like this sound as it allows me to confidently type faster. However, the sound is way too loud (invasive typically) for my tastes in public places.

Yes swamp I believe it will do that as well. Just adjust the system volume part of it.

Just confirmed. It does indeed. System volume ALSO controls the screen locking unlocking sound etc. Basically any OS sounds..

Hi all!

I downloaded the manager and maxed out the System sounds and yet i still can not hear the clicky noise when i text- it its only when i text, too. All other sounds are present (when i make screen selections, etc).

Any other suggestions? I changed my input method to "samsung keyboard" and theres a clicky sounds... but i prefer the Android keyboad.
