No Speaker on Video Playback After Using Headphones?

I was using headphones to watch a movie twice now and noticed I needed to restart the phone to get audio on the speaker.

Anyone​ else or known solution? Thanks

This doesn't happen to me, and I switch between headphones and speaker all the time.

Check the sound volume after this happens...is it down or muted?

There is an app that could theoretically fix this. Unfortunately, I had it on my old Moto G 1st Gen and don't remember what it's called. I will have to go digging and see if that will work...

And of course, if it's a hardware issue with the speaker, an app won't fix it.

I'm not thinking it's a speaker issue as it works after a reboot - but it may be a hardware issue with the headphone jack, or a software issue your patch could fix.
