No Sprint 800 mhz LTE support?

HTC One: The U.S. radio frequencies | Android Central

LTE
AT&T: 700/850/AWS/1900 MHz
T-Mobile: 700/AWS MHz
Sprint: 1900 MHz

I was really hoping the new line of phones would support Sprint's 800 for LTE :(

Why hoping for something that isn't out yet. 800 is for SMR 1xAdvanced right now. LTE for 800 is next year after the current Network Vision buildout is complete.

While I get where you are coming from, LTE on 800 will be a significant improvement to LTE (especially with coverage) in the future. It would have been nice if they included support for that in this phone. A lot of people do keep their phone for more than 1 year.
It's not a deal breaker for me, just a little disappointing.

Could be a safety on Sprint's part. Don't get ahead of the game too much and regret that you design a device to run on a specific frequency only to have some sort of major chance that would make it useless.

All the changes Sprint is going thru with Network Vision which includes 3g upgrades, LTE 1900 Mhz ongoing installment and future 800 Mhz LTE frequencies and then throw in the buyout and take overs/mergers of various companies Sprint could very well be playing safe not knowing what could come to light around the next corner.

Were not going to see Tri-band LTE phones until late 3Q early 4Q at the earliest.... iDen wont be fully shut off until 2Q and LTE on 800 isnt scheduled to go live until late 4Q
