No Sprint/T-Mobile Preorder

I was able to preorder this morning from Sprint's website. I preordered the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 128GB in Mystic bronze. I selected the option where I sent my Note 10 plus back. All I had to pay was taxes and fees ($80+) and Shipping ($10).

Did you use the galaxy forever to upgrade to the Note 10+ last august? Or did you add a line for the Note 20 Ultra?

Your taxes/fees still came to $90?
Thats still crazy

He must have magic because there are only 3 options on the website whether you add a line, add a brand new device, or upgrade and every single option has the down payment. Even the sprint rep told me that the Note 20 has a down payment requirement just for that phone.Sprint.JPG

It seemed like the Galaxy forever upgrade - or the closest thing to it. I logged in on the Sprint website and clicked on devices --> upgrade device. I selected my phone. The tricky thing was finding the Note 20 ultra. I had to filter the options to Samsung and 5G phones. I selected it and it gave me the option to preorder. I selected the option that lets me send them my Galaxy note 10 plus back once I receive the ultra. It went through and I got an email confirmation of my preorder. Again, this was through the SPRINT website. Try the following link. It should take you to the preorder page... hopefully.

Ok I see now, if you are new to sprint then you can get it with no down payment. That's not the case for existing sprint customers.

That looks like a screenshot from T-Mobile's website. I logged into my Sprint account on Sprint's website to get the Galaxy forever upgrade. I guess its attached to my account somewhere.

Not true. I have been a Sprint customer for 19 years. I am definitely an EXISTING sprint customer. My guess is if you are currently on the galaxy forever upgrade program, you can select that option if you log in to your sprint account and try to preorder it.

Nope, this is sprint's website. I chatted with a sprint Rep this morning and she told me that there is a special down payment requirement just for this phone, but you can use the galaxy forever plan on other phones. That is definitely the sprint website, although it does say now with T-mobile.

There is a special down payment if you are trying to get the 512GB model. I got the 128GB model. No special down payment.

Not gonna argue, you saw the screen shots, those were for the 128GB Bronze model. Check , post #14 sprint has discontinued the galaxy forever program July 12th. So maybe you found a glitch or something but its not working for anyone else who tries on sprints website so it is what it is.

I don't know then. Here is the receipt for my order. All I know is that the option was there for me when I ordered this morning. I have no idea why. I did call T-Mobile sales department in the date the phone was announced and spoke with a Sprint person about the Galaxy forever program. They told me that T-Mobile had a similar program. Maybe somehow through dinner voodoo, it's in my account. All I know is that it was an available option and I took it.

So a Sprint Executive called me after I sent an any email to the CEO
She was very nice but basically told me the deal they are offering is firm.
She said they knew there would be backlash from T-Mobile not honoring Sprints forever plan deals.
She said the company cannot afford to take a hit from customers being able to upgrade with 0 down vs paying the phones off.
She didn't even offer me a credit. NOTHING. Straight chalk
Looks like the Note 10+ may indeed be the last phone i ever buy from Sprint.
End of an era

That is a lie. I didn't make a down payment. I have been with sprint since 2001
