No Square Reader Support

I apologize as this topic already exists in the Maxx area, but as it affects the Ultra as well, I thought I should post something here to make sure all you who own or are considering an Ultra would know - The Ultra / Maxx do not currently support the Square credit card reader. I'm giving Motorola a couple days to give some indication that they're working on a fix before I return my Maxx, as I run a business and cannot have a phone that doesn't support Square (or I assume other 3.5mm based credit card readers).

Per the Motorola website:

Note: At this time, devices that have a microphone input but no microphone output (Square Card Reader, Jawbone UP) are not currently supported.

Tested & confirmed that the Paypal Here card swiper also does not work.

Latest word from the Moto forums:

I know our team is looking at this as a possible add. I have no details regarding timing, etc., or even a confirmation that it will be rolled out. But it's very much on our radar.

Hopefully they will get this working soon. There are a couple devices on the horizon that I was looking into getting, but they plug into the headphone jack so they wouldn't work for me unless they fix it.
