I always set up my sounds to make a noise when I touch on a app or anything on the screen. My other phones this setting is working without any issues. I have the Thunderbolt to make a noise when any on screen app or setting is pushed, once in a blue moon I will get any noise response, anyone else with this issue???? The screen is also set up to make a sound when it locks, this also is not working right, again works when it wants to, once in a blue moon. Why Me??????????????

I have the same problem. I believe it's a software related. The only temp fix I've found (which seems to work) is to go into all apps that have a volume setting and make sure they're turned up all the way (I.E. google navigator, Bluetooth, ringtone volume, etc.) Once you set the phone to vibrate for a time period and turn the volume back up the problem returns.

*EDIT* Word misspelled, LOL.

I have the same problem. It seems to only make the sound when selecting certain icons/ buttons..

Thanks, I found if I turned up the media volume all the way up the sound also goes up. Not sure if that is the norm but it seems to be working for me now. I have both the Thunderbolt and the Sensation. Love both phones. Bought the Thunderbolt to get in on the unlimited data plan. The Thunderbolt will be a killer device once they get Gingerbread onto this thing.

Installing free app "Sound Manager" and messing with setting seems to solve the issue for many people.
