no update button

I have a galaxy s4 from AZ cell1. When i checked my phone i had jelly bean 4.2 and i wanted to update but couldn't because i didnt have an update button!

Don't know your particular case but settings/about phone/updates is normally where it is

Did you get the S4 from Cellular One, or did you get it used or unlocked from somewhere else? If it wasn't brand new, it might be rooted with a custom ROM, which usually doesn't allow you to get OTA updates from the carrier.
