No USPS app?

I guess I find it odd that there is no official app from the US Postal Service (USPS). I found an older one that does not work on new Android OS's. Or maybe they are too busy dealing with rain, sleep and snow?????????

USPS discontinued their Informed Delivery App in 2019 or 2020. I really miss that one.

I think they eventually discontinued their USPS Mobile App also.

Maybe it's too expensive for them to maintain, secure & update the apps.

I see the listing in the Play Store, but it shows as only compatible with my older devices (running Android 10 or lower). Maybe it's 32-bit only?

I probably should have used the wording of stopped 'updating' instead of 'discontinued'.


I quit using the Informed Delivery App as I figured if there were no longer updates, it might become less secure. (Based solely on paranoia)

I now have the USPS mobile app. I found a version on one of the APK sites and sideloaded it. I was able to see a package scheduled for today - more miraculously, I was able to manually type in the 500 digit tracking number without error! So we shall see how it works out.
