Thanks dude, I appreciate it. Check it out though, I know vz and att get in a lot of pissing contests, but all beef aside, the moto droid from vzw is (suprisingly) fast and accurate. Dropping my bberry for my droid is one of the best decisions I've ever made. Out of curiousity, what do u have now as far as service and phone?
No Verizon nexus one google? I'm becoming apathetic, and you want none of this.

Yeah I had a vzw crapberry (boy, that's catchy lol) 8330 also. When do u think your gonna be able to get an android, and what r u looking at?
I can upgrade in early June and I am looking at either the Evo or Nexus 1 when it comes to sprint.
The Evo scares me because the HTC Hero has taken so long to get updates to. I worry that if there are any bugs (sorry but there always is) that it's going to take six months or longer to get it fixed. I know it will be an awesome phone with great features and I will love it at the start. But I'd also like to know that updates will come in a timely manner.
The nexus one because it is an obvious good phone and gets updates quickly.

I ditched my bberries 2 months ago tried the Eris and loved it for the most part...poor camera n battery life made me take it back. I was gonna hold out for the Nexus One but my antique treo jus couldn't hang so last nite I threw n the towel n got the moto droid I'm surprised how much I like it! I did talk to 2 diff stories n VZW on da phone and all said Nexus One wouldn't b out til May...don't shoot the messenger lol jus passing the info along. Ill b content with my droid tho =)...tired of waiting n waiting
Did the same exact thing dude! I'm surprised at mine too. I'm from Delaware and earlier this evening, my boy and I took a road trip up to pa and got lost on purpose to test out the droids GPS, and Christ, I'm impressed beyond belief. I can also say that I haven't been on android central on my computer since I got my Droid, and I'm impressed by that also.
Did u choose to get the bundle pack with your Droid? (ie, mine came with a screen protector, clear plastic shell, car charger and wired headset for like an extra sixty bucks)
Eric: *envious of the evo* lol, I lost respect for the nexus when they decided to sandbag on Verizon. Evo on the other hand....dude that's a serious phone hahaha....but I'm quite happy with my lil Droid. I look at it this way from a power plant perspective: my droids 550mhz CPU is like a 4cyl with twin Turbo pushing like 350 HP. As where the nexus and evo are like v8s running stock at 350 HP. I'm sure I can overclock, but I don't think I'm going to root my phone because I made that mistake with my sh!tberry and I don't wanna make that same mistake twice... (updated my 8330s OS from 4.5 to 5.0 and introduced a very vicious memory leak to my system to where I had to pull the battery every day, and to anyone that's owned a sh!tberry, you know how much it sucks to have to pull that battery...)
I think I've finally found a happy nerd corner where I can be nerdy and speak some nerd-speak and have people understand me...lovin this forum.

Pk I agree this bad boy is awesome! I live in MD but I'm down n NC visiting my fam n haven't had any issues! I also have been going on the forums from my Droid and surprised how easy it is n great it looks. I've DL quite a few apps n so far no lag...my crapberry (lmao) wouldve been crawling by now! I passed on the Droid for a while because I thought it looked ugly n I hated phy keyboard which I am now coming to like. My fav is better keyboard tho...it let me DL a FL Gator keyboard WooHoo GO GATORS!
Lol to that my fellow droid user. I'm looking into Swype on my droid. That's one of the main reasons I got it. You should look for swype, once u get it (if its what its cracked up to be) ull never use the phys keypad ever again.....
