No VoLTE or Advanced Calling?

Is it the Snapdragon or Exynos version and where did you get it? Did you confirm it's compatible with Verizon? Not all unlocked phones work properly on the network.

I went to check device compatibility on Verizons website and they want the IMEI so I'm unable to confirm it's supported.

Got it from Samsung. Was on the phone with Tier 2 TS today. I'm having terrible problems with the network shutting off and on again constantly. She had to do some reprovisioning. She checked their version and said the options are not there either. Wonder what's up with this.

I know Samsung unlocked versions miss some of those features to toggle Volte , the carrier version have it from what i remember , definitely see if they provision the sim to the device . You get wifi calling toggle in notification pull down panel ?

I have Wi-Fi calling. Even the Verizon version has no VoLTE option.

My last couple of Verizon phones have not had a VoLTE setting, they just use it (and with 3G being killed off, you'll need to). Unless you are looking for a way to turn it off, not sure why you'd be concerned.

As for advanced calling features like HD and video calling, not sure what the issue could be. I've never heard a difference in call quality with HD on, and don't use video calling, so I've never bothered looking into those settings more.

Hey There! May you be enjoying the phone...
Being a usual buyer of VZ devices, last year I ventured into manufacturer unlocked. My experiences with Samsung unlocked have been great!
Correct; no VoLTE, HD voice, or video calls with their (VZ) proprietary software.
Wifi calling (setting) and video calling (Duo) are still available.
May all this get sorted for you soon

AT&T got the heat put on them and are now offering the same features for unlocked as carrier versions. I have Volte, HD, Advanced calling, wi-fi calling, and they sent me a link when setting up my phone for their robo call/spam blocking app, and another blocking app of some type they said I was eligible for on my unlocked pixel. A huge change from my last unlocked pixel, as well as my other previous unlocked phones with them.

Don't take any guff from Verizon trying to hobble your unlocked phones.... you have options ;)

Like what, exactly?

Which part you didn't understand about AT&T Unlocked?
I meant what options do I have.
I'm having terrible service issues. Just now I couldn't even make calls. I restarted and suddenly got 20 voicemails and 10 sms and 50 email. I hope this phone isn't bad.

WOW, that just sucks all the way around. Try changing APN and see if this fixes your issue. My UNLOCKED for ATT has been superb. I can't complain. Also, trying to and call your provider and provision the SIM or get another SIM and see.

How do I change APN? Sorry if it's a dumb question.

I get the video calling option on my Verizon version. There's no advanced calling or HD or anything but I think that's automatic now. No video calling sucks though. That's why I don't mess with unlocked phones on Verizon. They find some way to screw you.

I just use Duo. No prob.

I'm on Verizon and and I believe most of the stuff like Volte works on unlocked through their LTE+ network.

As far as video calling isn't that only through their app?

The problem with some of the Verizon carrier versions is they also gimp OEM features. For example, Samsung's Find My Mobile doesn't work with Verizon carrier device. While Google's find my device does, it isn't as feature rich as Samsung's.

I guess it comes down to picking your poison.
