I got my Thunderbolt yesterday and on my first full day my battery has lasted just as long as my Incredible used to. I got about 7 hours of talk, text and web browsing off and on all day. I can live with this. My problem is that my battery indicator went from Green to Red without stopping on Yellow to warn me that I am gettin low. Anyone else have that problem? I LOVE my new phone!

Hi did you check the settings of the battery to see if it is set to give a warning ? settings then power to see if power save is on. I don't know if that will make a difference but Hope this helps :)

Thanks. It was set @ 15% and that was where ny Dinc would go to Red. Moved it to 30% to see if that changes it.

I'm happier every day with my battery life too. I bought the extended battery but also still use the standard. It is improving I think. I too have "returned to normal life after ThunderBolt purchase" and it seems like mine is lasting fine throughout the day. I'm beginning to think a lot has to do with not constantly streaming data with it :)

One thing you should check about that Green/Red without passing yellow thing...

Have you "calibrated" your battery? You'll find instructions in this ThunderBolt thread. The reason I say that is because it really is a "calibration" that takes place. Allowing the phone to better know how much battery power is remaining.

It always goes to yellow. I have noticed, though, that the yellow isn't bright enough compared to Green so its hard to tell.

I turned off Power Saver, but I still get notified at 15%, 10%, and 5% that my battery is getting low. Is there anyway to turn these off? I would want a notification at just 10%.
