Ok, I'm introductions were never a strong point of mine, so I'll keep this short.
First, how Android and I came to meet. I'm relatively new to android and smartphones in general; Before getting a smartphone, I had a "dumbphone" for calls and such and an iPod and Computer for music. And I was perfectly content with that. Then, in May of Last year, my mother forced me to get a new phone. Hearing about all the cool things I've heard about Android (and growing increasingly dissatisfied with Apple and how they do things), I decided to get an Android. Boy, I am glad I did. I never imagined having an "all-in-one" device that can play games, media, surf the web, etc. would be so awesome. I have since become a believer.
Now, as for why I'm here, at this forum, specifically, there are two reasons for that. The first reason is that I want to enter a contest being hosted here. The second reason is that I've been interested in joining this community for a while (even before I knew about the aforementioned contest); the contest was another reason to sign up.
Not sure what else to put here, so I'll be stopping here now. Look forward to spending more time here.
