Think of tech nerds who actually understand science and tech and arent lazy and work on electronics and repair them solder, rewire, modify, customize etc. Or a sound engineer who has worked with audio his/her whole life(the 1%)
Think of people who spend their lives on phones or even have a use for one, as hard working people dont have time to use "phones" and i myself didnt even have a phone half my life (such a great fullfilling life it is when a certain sex cant suck hours of your life away a day to gossip about whats on tv, and these days my males friends have become just as lazy as they turn to old aka dying people). (the 99%)
Im the top person. Stating this for a refrence. I would ignore the 99%s opion on how to build a spaceship personally but to each their own. The odd thing is the 99% doesnt offer up opinions on how to build rockets or solder or rewire circuitry; leave it up to crApple to push a field of tech where eventually the 99% are the only ones telling you how tech works.
Its much worse already than even you seem to understand and its been going on forever but the 99% controls this planet and phone forums so not much real gets discussed on $1000 computers if we call them gossip lines, waste of life, or more commonly phones instead of computers. I think this is even part of their marketing, as if it were called a computer, a certain sex and a large portion of the other would flee in terror and not purchase them.
Trust me, this problem is there, and its much worse than you detail and its not exactly new but the note 8 is one of if not the most flawed Android i ever owned. Its the fastest till they throttle it (id like to see the 99% even define the word throttle before they deny its happening; wont happen, talk before action for the 99%)
Heres what YOU can do to help it. Im currently warrantying my Note 8 because the noise cancelling messes up at this point half the videos i make (8 a day on average across multiple devices). My S5 does it slightly, my Note 3 acts like they nerfed its stereo recording ability, but maybe it always sucked and my Note 4 im sure they updated it to reduce its power to force me to buy a new device, so i dont even attempt to record with it.. Just make videos in different environments so you learn where it destroys the audio so you have proof its broken, and keep sending them back. Scamsung will have a warehouse full of trash that matches the size of their N7 refurbishing warehouse. Smack the child enough times for acting up and eventually theyll learn at the very least to act right in your presence. Smack samsung every chance you get. The 99% wont help you on this. They dunno what a CPU is, what memory is, what the word hardware is what the word software means, what a cold solder joint is, what the word solder means, what the word intermittently is etc.
When i reported the note 7 was heating up and was the hottest android i owned , internet groupies told me basically"its not" and "its something im doing" . A Week later they started burning down. The only reason scamsung cared is their federal govt shut it down for safety. Scamsung couldnt afford to admit they had a flaw so they then jacked prices up $200 per device (for many years to come?) to make up for losses. So its up to *you* and *me* to act on this if we want to change it. Ive contacted Scamsung about many things including noise cancelling and uneeded DB gain on Mic in previous years and they hardly listen to anything. Scamsung understands the 99% want a phone and not a useful camera or computer and dont care about its quality nor understand what quality means. To be fair, Scamsung added a baby EQ for sound last year, like 4-5 EQ bars yet poweramp has like 8 and real mixing has 16-32. Its useless tho to have such limited EQ controls. No low to high range sound system would benefit much, lower crossover less systems even less.
Anyways, the problem IS there, its intermittent because its BROKEN and noise cancelling is quite a gimmick but they are over applying it. You arent the only one who notices it. Ive been uploading videos for months and randmly the audio will be damaged. Oddly the best audio i get is at ultra loud concerts tho the bass drums (the most defined part of any performance) will cut out at random for minutes to possibly later return. When i record drums SAME THING. The bass drum overpowers a drum set so much people try to drown it out by turing up the rest of the bands amps, you are kicking a drum vs tapping it with your fingers. The bass drum isnt recorded at all sometimes and hardly at all most the time on the note 7 and S5 etc. The sound levels will fluctuate for all pieces of the set. If you have a fan on within 16-30 feet of your device, it will randomly wreck the audio as well. During talkign videos it will randomly digitize my voice and or muffle it. Somehow no car sound at all SOMETIMES then others i hear the suspension. Cant get a good recording of car sounds if im trying for it tho. Etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc
the answer is to warranty your device the second this starts; over and over and over; but be sure to record video proof/call recorder proof as eventually scam joints on their way to bankruptcy like AT&T will try to say "you are returning broken trash too much".
sorry if this comes off as offensive, but i am PISSED at how tech companies rape consumers and consumers just roll over. YOU have rights and they are preying upon people who dont have thousands of hours to spend learning about tech and audio. Am i better cause i know tech and have time to record audio and videos all day? not at all. Its what i know tho. Others have their own skill sets. These are some of mine which for the last 10 years ive shifted from obsessing over computers to attacking the govt and corporations for how they act.
