Noise on unfolding?

Do you hear any noises while unfolding the Fold 3? Mine was very quiet and smooth for the first week, but now I can hear a very quite pop when unfolding, like two layers of plastic film separate. Doesn't happen all the time.

Time will tell, but so far I kept the phone away from any dust. The sound is more like two sticky surfaces are separating.

Just to be clear, is it possible that your case (assuming you have one) isn't making the noise?

The case is installed, but the noise comes from the hinge area. I already checked. It was my first thought also about the case.

I have a Fold, not Flip, but yes, a factory screen protector is installed. Don't plan to take it off.

I have a Fold, not Flip, but yes, a factory screen protector is installed. Don't plan to take it off.

Very slight plasticky sound opening here. Happened on the f2 as well. I think it’s relatively normal. Assume you got 12 months of Samsung care so I wouldn’t worry.
