Nokia 2.1 Android oreo 8.1

Hi I got a new Nokia 2.1 phone today. It's running Android Oreo go edition 8.1.
I've managed to download a number of apps but I can't get the Google app.



Is there any way of doing it?

Thanks B Diddy. Just tried google go it's rubbish. Thanks for the advice though. I don't think I'll be keeping this phone for too long!

Yeah, the thing to remember here is that Android Go is intended for really cheap underpowered devices, to allow most Google services to run without having to take up too much internal storage or RAM. But the experience will almost certainly be inferior to a more powerful phone running standard Android.
