Nokia 6 7.1.2 "Can't download"

I just bought a new Nokia 6 Android Device from Best Buy in the USA.

Model: TA-1025
Android Version: 7.1.1
Android Security Patch Level: July 1, 2017

I click on System Update - it appears to try, then comes back with "Couldn't download". It appears to be trying to download "Update Google Security Patch 2017-08" - update size 119.0 MB

Any tips on how to handle this?

Well I as able to determine the error. The phone did not like my router. Hooking it up to my other cellphone and using it as a hotspot allowed it to update.

My router was using OpenDNS and had "b/g protection" enabled. Getting the first update, changing from OpenDNS to Google DNS and disabling b/g protection... so I am not sure which of those 3 actually made it work... but regardless it is updating and working well now.

It is odd because aside from not getting the OS/Firmware update -- the phone was updating via Wifi (apps), surfing, etc... great. I did not put a SIM inside the phone.

We're still waiting for 7.1.2 in the UK ( TA-1033). I noticed that Google has now released the November patch for their devices as well.

Come on HMD / Nokia get us up to date please.
