Nokia 7 Plus - the almost-flagship with a mid-range price

I love the phone for once I can go out and seriously not worry about the battery life.

I'm what I call a heavy user stream music pretty much all day use Google maps alot, WhatsApp etc and 8 hours of charge and it sits at about 50 per cent now that's on mobile network to not wireless

I didn't even know they made Android phones. All I remember were the defunct Windows phones.

Well, Nokia don't make them, HMD Global do but Nokia have oversight as HMD are using their branding and before you ask, no they aren't "some Chinese company", HMD Global are based in Finland right across from the Nokia HQ.

mine turned up finally. still getting it set up but so farv I have noticed battery life is way better than my ageing Moto g4 plus (guess that's to be expected as the Moto was 2 years old and a smaller battery!!)

I have a distinct feeling that the reason for the battery life being fantastic on these Nokia devices is due to them not being overloaded with crap like a certain manufacturer whose name begins with S :D

Don't forget the Snapdragon 660.

True, but my Nokia 8 with the Snapdragon 835, yes last year's processor, is just as fast. I've never understood why having a phone with last year's processor in it immediately makes it crap.

I was speaking more to the battery. The 600 series is known for providing great battery life.

Same with my Nokia 8 and as I said in a previous comment, this is likely to be due to not being loaded to bursting with manufacturer crap. I'm not saying you're wrong but simply pointing out that both the 660 and the 835 give great battery life.
