Nokia C2 shuts down

[Android Central Question]

My nokia C2 shuts down when still 70% battery power when I reboot it says 5% then shuts down again. I've replaced the battery and done hard reset and still does the same thing. Please help me solve this issue

Welcome to Android Central! @mustang7757, the C2 has a user-replaceable battery, so I'm assuming the OP simply bought a replacement battery from somewhere.

OP, where did you get the battery from? Directly from Nokia, or some other reputable seller? If you got some 3rd party battery from a random online seller, there's a greater chance the battery is counterfeit.
