Non removable battery question

It happened to me 2 times on my Samsung Note 2. My phone froze completely & would not even restart.
Only removing the battery would solve the problem.

So, my question is if your battery is non removable, what can you do?

Press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds.

As ruggedhunter has mentioned, this method will hard reset the phone. It might be worth while thinking about why this issue has happened to you on two different phones. What phone do you currently have?

Hi, it happened twice on my Galaxy Note 2 which I still use.
I try, install & unistall a lot of apps. Can that be a cause? Does Android apps. leave a lot of leftovers like Windows applications?
