Hello all. I've just purchased my first smartphone - a Verizon Droid Incredible 2. I wavered a bit between this and an iPhone (my son has an iPhone4 and my daughter-in-law has an HTC) and finally made the jump to an Android phone.
So I'm here to soak up as much knowledge as I can.
I've already run into one problem that will hopefully have a workaround soon. When I bought the phone it had Froyo on it. By the time I got home it had downloaded and installed Gingerbread. I'm waiting for a temp root solution so I can clean off all of the Verizon bloatware.
Anyway, thanks for putting together such a great forum. I'm sure I'll be hanging out here quite a bit.
