Noob: Contacts Issue

Okay guys I have a quick question regarding transferring contacts over to my new bionic. (first android btw) I loaded up facebook, and of course its synced so all of my contacts are pulled from facebook, some with phone some without. Now I loaded gmail contacts and they all show up, but in a different group which I have to select under the contacts option. This is kind of a pain in the ass. Is there any way to go through and merge them? I like having the facebook pictures associated with contacts and email etc but the phone numbers are in a separate list and its starting to bug me. Most of them don't have last names but even if I had to go through manually and pair them together I wouldn't care (only 50 of so important people). Thanks for the help!
