Noob questions - alarm/countdown timer and pictures?

Sorry about the dumb questions, but I'm new to Android and can't seem to figure this out. :)

First, I removed the stock time/weather widget from my home screen so I could play around with some of the other ones that are available. But I can't figure out how to get to the alarm clock/countdown timer/stopwatch functions now. I ended up adding a small HTC clock widget so I could get to them, but I figure there must be a cleaner way (is there a dedicated widget that I'm missing?).

Second, how do I get directly to my pictures? I do this by opening the camera app and clicking the icon in the bottom left. But again, I figured I must just be missing something obvious.

Thanks!

To access your clock without using a widget just open your app drawer and select clock (and gallery for your pictures)

There's an app in your app drawer called "Clock." That's what you're looking for in order to access the alarm/countdown/etc functionality.

There's also an app in your app drawer called "Gallery." That's what you want to access the pictures on your phone. "Videos" is for videos that you record.

Oh for the love of ...

Thanks all!

I successfully rooted my phone and installed a new ROM, but I couldn't figure this out by myself. ;)
