Noob Root Questions

Hello,

I am brand new to all this stuff and this is my first post. I just rooted my phone and installed CWM. My question is I want to install the blu kubin rom but is there anything else that I need to do regarding the kernal before I switch from EL29 GB to an ICS rom? Also if I dont like the rom and want to switch to another one what do I have to do so I dont brick my phone? Do I have to flash back to EL29 before switching roms? I am so confused!!! Thank you all so much for all your help!

How Not To Brick Your E4GT (UPDATED 5/21/12) - xda-developers

Read that thread, op has lots of good info on how not to brick. Also, be sure to read the ROM thread on how to flash the ROM. It's generally recommended to to Odin the el26 cwm packed kernel then install the ICS ROM from there. Good luck.

So if I am on EL29 how do I get to EL26? Once I am on EL26 do I have to download CWM for EL26 again? I am so confused....Thanks!
