Hi all, I've been lurking on this site for awhile and just joined. I'm hoping you can help me!

I have a rooted Incredible (friend rooted it for me as I'm CLUELESS about this stuff) and I want to move my MP3's from my SD card to my internal storage. I connected it to my computer and mounted it as a disk drive. I've been told that there's 2 drives that show up in "my computer" and there is...but the other drive says that I need to insert a disk. I'm assuming that this is my SD card that isn't mounting.

Am I missing something completely obvious?

Thanks!

There shouldn't be anything that you have to install. Go to "My Computer" (assuming you are using windows) and the SD card usually is "H:" and the phone storage usually is "G:"

This is after you connect the phone to the computer of course. You don't need to install any of that V-Cast caca.

I hope that helps.

I know what the problem is.

Go to your android phone and pull down the notification bar.

Select "Disk Drive". (If it's on charge only change it to disk drive.)

Let windows see the phone.

If your still not seeing the SD card, pull down the notification bar again and select "disk drive" again, EVEN IF ITS ALREADY SELECTED. Click on "Disk drive" again and hit ok on the phone.

Windows should then see the SD Card as a drive on your computer. It's a odd glitch but it should work now.

I have the problem every so often.
