I recently switched from iPhone 5 to this Note 3 and I'm liking it so far. Best decision ever lol. Just wondering if my battery life is good. I'm on 32 percent and it says "20 hrs 33 min om battery" is this good? Also around what percentage should I start charging my beast? Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.
I typically charge at about 30% remaining.
As for battery life, many things can affect it. It takes 4 or 5 charge cycles for the battery to get into the swing of things.

Hi! Welcome!

It depends on screen time? If you go back to the screen that shows the battery time, click/touch on the word "screen" section running. This will take you to another screen. That will tell you how much screen time the phone is using. It sounds like your off to a great start. I have the Note 3 on sprint, with the kitkat update. So, I'm running 14-16hrs with 6-8hrs of screen time, 18-22hrs with 3-5hrs of screen time. I've read "recently" that you should charge it around 10-15% and not let it completely discharge. I'll let others chime in on that. It's conflicting on what you read. I usually plug it in around 5-10%. Sometimes I'll forget and it will completely discharge. It's not bad, the phone works and recharges nicely with the 3.0 charge cable. It's the point of making the battery last years instead of just a year or two. 😊

Thanks for your help it says I was at 2 hrs and 40 min of screen time. Heard great things about the battery life and so far it's lived up to its expectations. I plugged it into the charger at 25% as well.

Sounds good. It's what I anticipated. When you have more "screen time", more than 2 hrs & forty mins, your total battery time will be less. So, don't be frantic if you see a change. Obviously the more you use it, the faster the battery drain. But it is great on the Note 3. On my S3, I would barely make it 9hrs of battery time. And that was on wifi at my job. You'll read some posts about kitkat draining the battery more. I saw a little bit more of a drain, but nothing major. And the plus side is the animation is so much more snapper on kitkat. 😊

Welcome to the forums. Enjoy your new phone. Might have a hard time getting off it because you'll always want to use it.
