Hello, and thanks for any help in advance. What do I need to do to transfer a digital copy of a movie or just download the digital copy to my Nook Tablet? What software is needed, etc Thanks again!

Once the NT (Nook Tablet) is connected to a PC via a USB cable, you will have access to a 1GB section of the internal memory as well as a microSD card if one is installed. You can then copy files over to it using Windows Explorer.

It seems that the NT (Nook Tablet) is limited to the apps available from the B&N (Barnes & Noble) app store. I understand that the built-in video player is limited in what it can play.

I rooted my NT about an hour after I got it, using 'Indirect's' method as seen on the XDA forums.(google XDA Indirect Nook) and have installed both the Amazon and Google app markets.

My preferred video player for Android is MoboPlayer, available for free from the Android Market. It supports most video files, (AVI, MP4, MKV, etc) as well as sub files for subtitles. This app works on a rooted NT quite well.
