Noooo, my replacement DX came with 2.2!!!

So this sucks pretty bad. I was planning on installing the leaked 2.2 over 2.1 so i could always flash back with the 2.1 sbf, now I cant!

Here's my question: I wanted a way to flash back just in case my newb self bricks my DX again. Can I go hack freely with roms and all and if I "brick" it can I flash with the sbf that TBH released? Or will it not work as well as the full sbf? And how unsafe would it be?

I'm just trying to have a fail safe of sorts, not like this is totally possible.

It is not a full sbf only the system part. So as long as you do not do anything too bad you will be fine.

You flash ROMs, theme, and delete blur and still be fine flashing the 2.2 sbf.

could you give an example of what is not ok to try ,without the failsafe that is the full sbf?

I'm still trying to figure this out as well. Everyone is saying they're waiting for the FULL sbf, what for? I'm pretty sure that nobody around here is doing any modding that the "system-only" sbf won't fix.
