Normal nexus 7 battery life?

About a month ago I got a nexus 7 tablet ( 16 GB wifi) via a promotion from att but recently i've noticed that the battery life doesn't seem to be what it used to be. Could anyone tell me if I'm getting normal battery life or am I just being paranoid.

It doesn't seem to be too far from normal and nothing showing really outstanding on the stats side of it, but it's hard to tell in so short of a time. You're basically losing 10-12% per hour with the screen on, which is 8-10 hours of screen time if it's consistent. You may save a little more by turning auto-brightness off (if it's on) and/or turning brightness down a little. It does seem a little strange that it wasn't awake for the majority of the time... were you using it or was it sitting there with the screen stuck on?

The brightness is usually turned down to about 15% if that, I was using my nexus the time that it was awake.

Also what is your setting time for how long the screen stays on when idle? I think the stock setting is 2 minutes. I usually bump all my devices down to 30 seconds. That extra screen time sitting on especially on higher brightness settings can gobble down battery.

It's set to 30 seconds. This is what a days usage looks like. Screen obviously taking up most of the battery.

You should really go by "screen-on time" as it is the main drain source.

I get about 5 hours on mine.

I've gotten up to 7-8 days on mine. With average use per day..
Mostly playing emulators, facebook. tumblr, remote desktop, browsing the web and drawing in Sketchbook....
