not able to reset to factory setting

[AC Question]

On Samsung 7edge I wanted to do reset to sell mobile.
It started up and automatically showed basic boot menu where I could choose "reboot" or "erase cache" and some others. Chossing reboot did not set back to factory setting.

Also problems with the latest download, does not download and install.

did trouble shooting online and and it was suggested to "erase chache" that I could choose from hard reset menu. did not work and now screen show android logo en "error". can't do anything now :-(

Welcome to Android Central! Are you able to boot to the homescreen, then go to the Settings>Backup & Restore menu, where there should be a Factory Data Reset option? Or you could use the hardware key reset method: https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28014
