Not able to send or receive text messages

[Android Central Question]

Just got my phone on Black Friday and I still cannot get or send any texts. Went to the store spent three hours there and over an hour on the phone today still no fix. Did anyone else have this issue and how did you resolve it? I'm being told they have 48 hours to fix it.

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone, and which carrier? Did you get the phone from your carrier, or did you get it from some other source and bring it to your carrier?
