I upgraded from the Droid X to Note 3 and so far love the phone.

Noticed last night that in sending a few items to the phone from my pc that the downloads are not all "downloading" via email. Anyone else having this issue? I am using my regular verizon email account not gmail.

thanks in advance and sorry if this is a totally newbie question!

:)

Is it random or files over a certain size? If it files that are over a certain size then the email server has a size limit on it.

I would also recommend against transferring your own files through email. I would use a dropbox account which is free for 5GB and very compatible across multiple platforms and it keeps all your files in sync as well.

thanks i set up a dropbox account yesterday. The files are not large - basically they're some ringtones i wanted on the phone. Problem with storing on dropbox is that i can't seem to access it when trying to add the ringtone to my list of choices. thanks for the quick reply!

I use a free app from the market called dropsync. I have the pro version but i think the free version lets you sync one folder. Anyway, After installing it, connect it to your dropbox account. Then when you open the dropsync app tap the three dots in the upper right corner. Tap settings then tap sync folder. You then navigate to the folder on your note 3 where you want the files to be and select it. After selecting that folder it will ask which dropbox folder to sync and you select that one and it may ask what type of sync to way or one way. But after this just put the files from you pc into the dropbox folder you selected and shortly later on the note 3 navigate to the android folder you selected to sync and your files will be there. I LOVE dropsync that is why I bought the paid version well worth it!
