OK, I'm stuck. I have a rooted, 1.3.0 NC. I keep getting the "Sorry, there's not enough space to install this item" error when I try to install or update an app. The NC Settings says that there is 892MB free of 1.00GB of the internal memory, and 3.76GB free on the SD card. I even tried uninstalling an app to free more space, but it still refuses. I'm afraid to do anything too drastic just yet. Please offer some suggestions to get around this problem. Hopefully, it isn't hardware related.

When I first installed installed the entire mod on mine it said the same thing. Someone mentioned idea tht an EXTERNAL reader v. the microsd adapter I'd plugged my microsd into would help. Didn't have one, BUT I had a sort of flashdrive looking thing you put microsd into then plug into USB port and it worked immediately. Just realized as I"m typing this that you install app directly to Nook so it is irrelevant. I include it therefore in case it gives you idea and point out that there is this whole "partition" thing that happens with cards and wonder if problem isn't that you don't load apps onto SD card big area and maybe area for apps is different partition?
