Not entirely happy with Xoom

Well I returned my Xoom today and got the tab from Verizon. All I can say is I love this device. I'm typing on it right now. I didn't like Touchwiz and installed LauncherPro and I couldn't be happier. It is like a bigger version of my android phone. Love it!

Did you get the tab on contract? If so, do you think it was worth it? The reason I ask is Samsung/wirefly offer a $100 coupon for a Verizon tab on contract but you have to have the 5gb data plan for 2 years. I have the Xoom, which I love, but saving $600-700 is tempting. The tab was my original choice when it came out. But waited too long so I "had" to have the Xoom.
also do you find the internal memory of 2gb a hinderence? The T-Mobile/at&t versions have 16gb internal(I know the SD card helps with increasing the storage, just curious)

For the life of me I can't pull up LauncherPro or ADWLauncher in the market!! I tried searching and all I got was ADW themes

I had that same problem. ADW is there, you just have to dig through the ungodly amount of themes. I typed adw.launcher and it pulled it up faster.

Do you have access to a computer now? You can go to the android market, find it and have it sent to your tab! It will be waiting for you to have fun with it!

You should be able to choose which device it goes to. When you click install/buy a screen should pop up and give you a choice.

I was able to find LPP on my tab last night. Loaded it right away. I didn't find it in the normal spot. I can't think of where I found it though. I know that doesn't help but hopefully it comes to me soon

Quite possible but I hope not. When I get home I'll look for the spot I found it. I would have it with me, but I didn't grab a sleeve for it last night. Bestbuy always overprices their accessories.

I hope not either. I really like ADW wiht all their themes and the Market website keeps saying that my tab isn't compatible

I got my tab with the wirefly/samsung coupon and I am only paying for the 1gig of data so you might want to try again

No I bought mine outright. I don't like to do contracts. I have no issues so far with my tab. Memory just all depends on what you want to use your tab for. I mainly want to use mine in bed for browsing the web, email, and YouTube.
