I've never damaged a phone from a drop. A couple of times it has dropped from my hand but I've been able to make a kick save as my foot is typically softer than what it's standing on.

Likewise. My phone itself is fine, but within a few days my built-in screen protector was scuffed up in a couple places. In the past I used to install a tempered glass screen protector. But given the issues with the FPS I'm not sure what to do. I've got a Spigen Neoflex at home, ready to install. But I'm not entirely certain I want to deal with the impressions which will be left from the S-pen.

I feel like this will end with me succombing to the Whitestone Dome...

Lol I mean it's the last resort but it's saved me a bunch of times over the years. Hurts pretty bad, especially if you don't have on shoes, haha. I haven't cracked a device since like the S4 or 5, if then. May have been since my Droid days. *knock on wood*

I took it out of its case when I sat down on my reclining sofa and it fell through the side crack. I opened the recliner in order to grab it and the reclining mechanism metals dug deep into the back, carving a hole and cracking. The front side is fine. I have insurance and ordered a replacement right away.

Can the backside even be fixed, specially with deep engraving like that?

I've fitted a Whitestone Dome to my Note 10+ and have no issues with the fps.

One tip I followed is to after the 1st curing with the UV light press gently down where the fps is and then carry out the 2nd curing.
