Not getting text message notifications

I'm having no problem getting text messages, but the notification doesn't stay on my screen after it first comes in. I'm using Textra. Anyone else experiencing this issue?

No issues here but I'm using Yaata. I gave up on Textra since it didn't integrate properly with BlackBerry Hub.

Interesting. Maybe I'll try going back to stock Android Messenger.

Definitely try Messenger to isolate the issue. It might be how Textra is set up. I've never had an issue with incoming messages in Yaata but outgoing texts with images took a bit of tweaking to work correctly in any third-party SMS app I've tried. Messenger always works. It just has an ugly UI.
