Not getting voice mail notifications

[Android Central Question]

we have a samsung s6 and are not getting notifications any more. we used to get them a few months ago then it changed. I looked at the other thread and could not find under the Phone app where to tap Menu>Call Settings>Voicemail, and see if it's set up there. It was working and then stopped.

Welcome to Android Central! Open the Phone app, and look for the Menu button, which is usually a 3-vertical-dot button at the upper right. Then tap Settings, then Call Settings, then Voicemail. Do you see the Voicemail Setup option there?
