Not getting xlte on m8?

In an xlte area but not getting the speeds vs my work phone which is LG g2. 5 download vs 34. Any ideas?

XLTE doesn't necessarily give you faster speeds. It gives the entire network more bandwidth. So you may not notice faster speeds, just better speeds during peak times and/or in populated areas.
