Not Received Your Free Gear VR Yet UK?

Has anyone who pre-ordered their S7 or S7 Edge in the UK within the deadline of receiving the free Gear VR actually received theirs?

I ordered before the deadline and have not received my unit. I have contacted Samsung via email and phone and was told that they had run out of stock and were not sending out any others, but they had received other complaints from customers in the same position and would look into it further. I cut and pasted various parts of their emails and FAQ on the website about the cut off date but nothing about whilst stocks last.

I pre ordered the s7 edge and the vr with Vodafone but it never arrived. Not got the phone either. They also say the vr is out of stock. Not looking likely that they will get stock anytime soon either!

Now can't get phone as the order was for both and they can't process order till the vr arrives.

Looks like the UK has been stitched up yet again, no 820 chip and oh we seem to have ran out of stock. I am giving Samsung another day and my S7 is probably going back. I may even get rid of my Tab S2 8 (that is still on 5.0.1 in the UK where the US versions are running 5.1.1)

The 820 is no where near as good as the exynos chip. The UK did well here.

Still waiting for Samsung to do me the courtesy of giving me a reply other than "We regret to inform you that we do not have information regarding your inquiry. The issue has been escalated to the senior management of Samsung.
As soon as we receive further information, we will contact you back."
