Not receiving Calendar Reminders! Anyone else?

I have events in my calendar that I have created, and chose default 15 minute reminder. However, those reminders are not coming up or alerting me. This was one of the crucial items that I wanted to make sure that an Android phone would do, since coming from a BlackBerry where the calendar was extremely reliable.

Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas?

Thanks.

I'm having the same issue. I'm testing different scenarios. Did not have this problem on my Evo. I also have the default reminder time set for 30 minutes but whenever I go to create an appointment it has 15 min already set. Frustrating.

I am having the same issue on my Stunningly Stellar on Jelly Bean. Sometimes the reminder works, and sometimes it does not.
What else I find happening. The calendar syncs between PC and phone. But not phone to PC. Another words, if I create a reminder on my PC. It shows up immediately on my phone. But something I create on my phone, never shows on the PC.

What desktop calendar app are you it's using? iCal does not carry over message with alert to Google Calendar. What is your workflow to add a new event?

My phone alerts do work fine after a bit of fiddling.

So far I have half my problem fixed. When creating a new event, I have to make sure I am viewing the HTC Sync Manager view and the reminder will shoe up on the phone.
Still can't get the default time to be 30 min. It's stuck on 15.

did a test on my One. no issue, vibrate and audible alert.
on screen notification shown at lower left of screen

Since my initial post, I have now been receiving the proper notifications, minus 1 or 2. I still need it to be perfect, though. These are important things I must be reminded of. When I win the lotto, I'll hire a personal assistant. But until then, my One will have to do.
