Not receiving Facebook notifications

I am not receiving Facebook notifications anymore. I only see notifications when I open the Facebook application. How do I get the notifications back?

I cleared my cache and data and it stated back working for me.

You can have mine...lol I try to get them to stop...got them turned off in settings and they still come thru...hating facebook.
