Not receiving Instagram notifications

I have not been receiving any notifications from Instagram. If I reinstall the app it will work briefly, but then I stop receiving them again. Other notifications work fine. Any ideas? (Notifications are enabled for Instagram in both the app and in app settings on device)

Just logged out and back in and I am receiving notifications again like when I reinstall, we'll see if the problem comes back.

Instagram is funny for notifications it's very picky on what it pushes. Most don't even come through, they changed this is as earlier builds for Android had a severe and I mean severe hit on battery life.

Just wanted to pipe in here. I'm using an S5 and I'm having the same problem. Stopped receiving Instagram notifications around some time last night. So at least I know it's affecting other people with different phones. Hope the problem gets resolved soon.

I'm not getting them either on my S5, but I do get them on my Samsung tablet with no problem.

I have a Samsung Galaxy s4 and I'm having the same problem, it started last night.

I think it's based on usage. I have same issues with Facebook. More I open the apps more notifications I receive. Don't know if it is just a coincidence.
