I've been using Android Auto for years. Recently, I stopped receiving messages from KIK Messenger on all of the vehicles I use (So, it's not a vehicle issue). Two are factory Mazda head units, one is a Kenwood.
I deleted and reinstalled AA and KIK, that did not fix it. I got a new phone, and did not do the transfer, but built all my accounts and apps from scratch again (better than a wipe I would assume).
None of that has worked. I have enabled all the permissions I could find. But, it's still not giving me notifications. I get notifications from SMS and FB messenger just fine.
I have also looked it up, and KIK is supposedly still supported.
Anyone else got any ideas? I am stumped and annoyed.
