Not receiving notifications when receiving texts from certain people since oreo

Anyone else having this issue? Seems like 2-3 people that text me, i hear the notification but everyone else i do not.

Check your Do Not Disturb settings. You may have it set to Priority contacts only...

There are a few threads on this forum that many are having issues receiving text messages no matter what app.

1. Try to power down take out SIM and or back up. Then do the reverse by placing the SIM back in. This worked for someone on the thread I just read.

2. Most others had to do a factory reset to get it back up and running
