Not receiving text messages

I'm getting really frustrated and hope someone can help. My tbolt has been causing me problems for about a year now by not always receiving texts. I would have to reboot my phone everytime someone would complain that I did not reply to them and the message would still be lost. I talked to Verizon and they said I have to clear my cache. I've been doing that several times a day and still have missing texts throughout the day. I have to reboot my phone at least 3 times a day and never know if I'm missing any texts until someone says something. I only have a month left on this contract and can't wait to get out of this phone. Has anyone else had this problem and is it fixable?

I will frequently experience long delays when sending or receiving texts, especially when communicating with my wife who is on AT&T. But I suspect that is more a problem with our respective carriers than my Thunderbolt.

I've had the same experience as Nate. When I send a text to people on AT&T, it takes them a while to get it. If you're having this problem with other Verizon customers, you could try a factory reset to try and fix it. If that doesn't work, and I think it will, then I would contact Big Red and see about getting a replacement phone.
