not receiving texts from only one of my contacts which uses an iphone.

forgive any redundant questions but I couldn't find an answer for my question.

I use an Asus 5q; all software UTD. Only one of my contacts using an iphone is sending texts to me that are not being delivered even though her iphone states message delivered.

I've checked all the usual suspects and none are applicable; ie, DND, airline mode, blocked contact....

What message app ? Is it sms ,picture or both?

Did your phone number used to be used on an iPhone? If yes, you need to unregister it with iMessage at apple.com .

Have your friend verify that your contact info on THEIR phone says SMS not iMessage (blue vs green).
